Advantage of Aluminum profile:
1. Corrosion resistance
The density of aluminum profiles is only about 2.8 g/cm3, which is arguably only one-third of the density of steel, copper or brass. Under most environmental conditions, including air, water, petrochemicals, and many chemical systems, aluminum shows excellent resistance to corrosion.
2. Electrical conductivity
Aluminum profiles are often chosen for their excellent electrical conductivity. For the same weight, aluminum has nearly twice the electrical conductivity of copper.
3. Thermal conductivity
The thermal conductivity of aluminum alloys is approximately 50-60% of that of copper, which is advantageous for the manufacture of heat exchangers, evaporators, heating appliances, cooking appliances, as well as cylinder heads and radiators for cars.
4. Non-ferromagnetic
Aluminium profiles are non-ferromagnetic, which is an important characteristic for the electrical and electronic industry.
5. Machinability
The machinability of aluminium profiles is excellent and is superior to that of many equivalent industrial building materials.
6. Formability
Specific tensile strength, yield strength, ductility, and corresponding work hardening rates govern the amount of deformation allowed. Various surveys have shown that the formability ratings of commercially available aluminium profiles in different forms depend on the forming process.
7. Recyclability
Aluminium has very high recyclability and the properties of recycled aluminum are almost indistinguishable from those of virgin aluminum
